What we do
Ten services, and we do all of them ourselves
No subcontracting the work out to whoever is available. The person who takes your call is from the same shop as the person who shows up.
Emergency Plumber
Burst pipes, active leaks and no-water calls. When it cannot wait until Monday, this is the number.
Learn moreWater Heater Repair & Replacement
Cold showers, rumbling tanks and rusty water. Repair when it makes sense, replace when it does not.
Learn moreDrain Cleaning
Slow sinks, backed-up tubs and kitchen lines that clog every few months. Cabled or jetted, not just poured.
Learn moreLeak Detection & Repair
A water bill that jumped, a damp spot on the ceiling, or a meter that spins with everything shut off.
Learn moreSewer Line Repair
Camera inspection first, then an honest call on spot repair versus replacement. Roots and clay tile are common here.
Learn moreRepiping & Water Line Replacement
Galvanized supply and failing service lines swapped for PEX or copper, with the yard put back the way we found it.
Learn moreToilet Repair & Installation
Running, rocking, leaking at the base, or just old and inefficient. Usually a same-visit fix.
Learn moreFaucet & Fixture Installation
Kitchen and bath faucets, shutoffs, supply lines and shower valves — installed so the next person can service them.
Learn moreGarbage Disposal Repair & Install
Humming, jammed, leaking at the flange, or tripping the reset. Repaired or replaced in one trip.
Learn moreSump Pump Installation & Repair
Basement pumps, check valves, discharge lines and battery backups — before the next heavy Kansas rain.
Learn moreHow we work
Six things we hold ourselves to
We are a newer name in Hays, so rather than borrowed testimonials, here is exactly how we operate. Hold us to it.
Priced before we start
You approve the number before any work begins. Emergency or scheduled, you never find out what it cost afterward.
Actually local
Hays and Ellis County only. When you call, the truck is not coming from Salina or Great Bend.
A real arrival window
Not a vague promise about sometime today. You get a time, and a call if it moves.
Licensed and insured
Current certificates available before we start work in your home. Ask and we will send them.
Repair before replace
Where a repair is the honest answer, we say so — even when replacing would be the bigger ticket.
Clean when we leave
Drop cloths, shoe covers, and the work area put back. Your house should not look like a jobsite afterward.
Local reality
Hard water is behind half the calls we take
Groundwater here moves through limestone and picks up a heavy mineral load. You see it on the glassware. Your plumbing sees it everywhere else.
Sediment settles in water heater tanks and the burner has to heat through it, which is why a heater rated for twelve years often quits at eight in Hays. Aerators clog. Shower cartridges wear early. It is the single biggest difference between plumbing here and plumbing in a soft-water town, and it is why our first question about a failing water heater is usually when you last flushed it.

Questions
What people ask before they call
Do you offer emergency plumbing in Hays?
Yes. Burst pipes, major leaks, no water and sewage backups are handled outside normal hours. Call and we will tell you what to shut off while we are on the way.
How much does a plumber cost in Hays, KS?
It depends entirely on the job. Drain cleaning starts around $150 for a single fixture; a water heater replacement typically runs $1,500 to $2,800 installed. Our guides break down real ranges before you call.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry the licensing and insurance required for residential plumbing work in Kansas, and we are glad to send current certificates before we start.
How far outside Hays do you travel?
Ellis, Victoria, Schoenchen, Walker and Gorham are part of our normal radius. We also take calls in Plainville, Russell and WaKeeney, especially for larger scheduled work.
Do you charge for an estimate?
Scheduled estimates are free. Diagnostic work on an existing problem — locating a hidden leak, running a sewer camera — has a fee, which we credit toward the repair.
Why does my water heater keep failing early?
Almost certainly hard water. Ellis County water leaves sediment in the tank, the burner heats through it, and lifespan drops by several years. Annual flushing is the single best fix.
Can you work on well systems?
We handle plumbing from the pressure tank into the house, including water heaters, softeners and fixtures. Well pump and casing work is a separate trade.
Do you do bathroom and kitchen remodel plumbing?
Yes — rough-in and finish plumbing for remodels, including moving supply and drain lines. Tell us your timeline when you call so we can coordinate with your other trades.
